چکیده

Objectives: The incidence of MRSA still remains an important public health problem. This study aimed to perform in silico analysis MLST, SCCmec, spa type, evolutionary similarity, and whole-genome sequencing (WGS) based antimicrobial susceptibility testing by using genomic data strains isolated from human infections different countries. Methods: WGS 30 were obtained as etiological agents download NCBI. Phylogeny with large was performed via CSI online software. typing the software at Center for Genomic Epidemiology. ResFinder 4.0 used testing. Results: After strains, 14 types, 11 sequence 9 SCCmec types detected. T037, ST239, SCCmec_type_III(3A) most detected spa, types. results analyzed, 28, 27, 26 out carrying aminoglycoside tetracycline fluoroquinolone resistance genes respectively. Conclusion: Our results, we found that similar profiles could be observed geographical locations, certain can coexist.

Extensive genetic diversity identified among sporadic methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates recovered in Irish hospitals between 2000 and 2012.

Clonal replacement of predominant nosocomial methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains has occurred several times in Ireland during the last 4 decades. However, little is known about sporadically occurring MRSA in Irish hospitals or in other countries. Eighty-eight representative pvl-negative sporadic MRSA isolates recovered in Irish hospitals between 2000 and 2012 were investi...
